Arignar Anna Zoological Park: This is said to be the first zoo of India. It was found in the year 1855 and it was first established in the Moor market area. Later it was shifted to Vandalur area in the year 1976. This covers an area of 510 hectares and one can get to see a lot of wild species here like panthers, elephants, hyenas, lions and tigers. One can walk through the zoo or can take battery cars for the tour.

Pulicat Lake: This is situated in the border of Tamil Nadu. Here one can spend a day relaxing and having a good time with family and friends.
